For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder:

Beloved of God, it's the most wonderful time of the year. Merry Christmas - it is not said enough. We have replaced these words of grace with the generic salute of "Happy Holidays". The cardinal colors of the Christmas season are red and green. The color green represents the carnal, monetary expenditures and distractions that come with the holiday season. The red represents the precious blood of Christ Jesus, the Lamb purposed before the foundations of the earth. He who was possessor of all things made himself of no reputation. He who descended form heavenly estate was born in a manger among the beast of burden. Don't go "in the red" purchasing the perfect gift, when the perfect gift was freely given 2,000 years ago in the town of Bethlehem. "O how precious is the flow that makes me white as snow no other found I know nothing but the blood of Jesus." Let's make this the most precious holiday season ever at First Baptist Church of South Euclid. Get in where you fit in! Lift up the Christ this Christmas season for He proclaims "If I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me". Jesus is the reason for the season. "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross" Philipians 2:5-8.
